Parking Reservations Northstar California

Northstar California will be starting a new parking reservation system for the 2023/24 ski season. During peak periods and weekends, parking reservations will now be required between 7am and 1pm.

In addition to reducing traffic congestion on Highway 267, this reservation system will also be a way to encourage the use of regional transit and carpooling. Those who have waited in stalled traffic or have felt the need to get to the resort early during peak times will now be assured of a designated parking spot.

The resort also plans to regulate specific parking times to alleviate congestion throughout the day during peak ski times. While vehicles with four or more occupants will enjoy free parking, reservations are still required for carpools at peak times.

Reservation fees of $20 will be required for vehicles with three or fewer occupants, which is paid at the time of booking. Guests can reserve up to five different reservations at one time and have unlimited bookings throughout the season.

On weekends and peak periods, reservations will be required until 1pm at Village View and lower paid parking lots. After December 15^th, season paid parking will take effect and only Castle Peak Parking Lot will be available as free parking for Northstar California.

Reservations will be refundable if cancelled by 8am on the morning of the reservation. Other than ADA spots, which will be first-come, first-serve, reservations will be required. Ski & Ride students and members of the Race Team will also be required to make reservations during peak times.

Guests can access ParkNorthstar.com beginning in November to make reservations.

The Castle Peak shuttle service will have extended hours, running until 10 p.m. on weekends and peak periods when reservations are required. Guests arriving after 1pm can also enjoy free parking with free parking at the Castle Peak Lot throughout the season. Avoiding weekends and holiday periods also allows unlimited access to parking.
