Lake Tahoe Ski and Snow Report

The last storm to come through Lake Tahoe didn’t bring much snow below 7000 feet. However, the cold front that followed promises to allow for robust snow making. Most ski resorts in the area will be opening over the next two weeks.

Vail Resort’s Lake Tahoe ski operations include Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe, Northstar California in Truckee and Kirkwood, just to the south of Lake Tahoe. Heavenly opened yesterday, and Northstar is scheduled to open on Thursday November 23rd. Kirkwood will be opening on December 1st.

Lifts that will be operating include:

• Heavenly: Tram, Patsy’s, Powderbowl
• Northstar: Big Springs Gondola and Vista
